At 08:00 this morning, a 20-year-old woman driving a Daihatsu Terios collided with a Skoda Forman driven by a 37-year-old man from Birgu.
The accident took place on Triq it-Tlett Ibliet in Bormla.
The woman, from Haz-Zabbar, and the Birgu resident were both taken to Mater Dei Hospital due to suffering grievous injuries.
The hospital later confirmed that although serious, injuries for both drivers were not life-threatening.
Police investigations are still ongoing.
