Waste at Gelmus Hill has been abandoned following the St. Mary's feast fireworks.
Witnesses in Gozo reported pictures of an “environmental disaster” at Gelmus Hill.

The waste seen in these pictures has been left at the site since the 25 August.

It is believed that the waste is a result of celebrations from the St Mary’s feast fireworks.

“It’s a shame that the authorities have not done something about this mess yet,” the witness, who insisted on anonymity, said.
