Elderly woman in critical state after crashing her car

A 79-year-old woman residing in Marsaxlokk is in a critical condition after being involved in a traffic accident today at around 08:30am in Triq iz-Zejtun, Marsaxlokk.

The woman who was driving from Bir id-Deheb towards Marsxlokk lost control of the vehicle and crashed into a parked Toyota.

The woman was rushed to hospital. She was later certified as suffering from life threatening injuries.

The district magistrate appointed an inquiry into the case
