Roof parapet collapses after being hit by crane

Luckily nobody was injured in an incident which could have had dire consequences in Nadur, Gozo this morning. At around 9:40am, a crane smashed into the side of a building still under construction and as a consequence the roof wall collapsed and landed on a number of vehicles parked in the street.

Police officers were on site to ensure that the building is safe and Enemalta workers were also called to disconnect the electricity while the damaged wires and lights were removed.
