Police uncover drug stash in Ivorian’s apartment

Police find cannabis, heroin capsules and cocaine in the St Paul's Bay apartment of a 36-year-old Ivorian man. 

Police from the Drugs Squad found several drugs in the St Paul’s Bay apartment of a 36-year-old man from the Ivory Coast.

During a search conducted on Thursday evening, the police discovered several substances that they suspect to be cannabis, heroin capsules and cocaine. In a statement, the police also said that they found “a number of objects related to drug trafficking”.

A police inquiry has been launched, investigations are ongoing and the man is expected to be charged in court later on today.
