Civil department called in to help Customs employee trapped by fallen shelving

A Customs worker at the government warehouses in Marsa required the assistance of the civil protection department this morning after some shelving collapsed on top of him. 

Members of the department and police from the Valletta station were on site to assist.

The man was conveyed to hospital shortly after. His condition is not yet known but his injuries are not believed to be serious in nature.
