Tree falls onto woman’s moving car

A tree collapsed onto a woman’s car while she was driving in Triq ix-Xatt, Pieta. In a statement, the police said that the incident occurred at around 5:40pm, after a 28-year-old man hailing from Qormi hit a tree while driving towards Valletta. It is as yet unknown what led the man to drive his car into the tree.

The impact uprooted the tree though, and it collapsed onto the car of a woman who was driving nearby. The woman didn’t suffer any injuries, but her vehicle, a Honda Accord, suffered serious damages.
