Eight-year old boy sustains sliht injuries after falling from third storey of an appartment block onto a canopy that broke his fall

An eight-year-old boy was rushed to hospital earlier today after he fell from the third storey of a block of appartments towards 08:15 in Triq il-Kullegg, Mosta.
Preliminary investigations show that the boy fortunately fell onto a canopy on the first floor before he fell onto the pavement below. The boy was rushed to Mater Dei hospital in an ambulance to receive medical attention for any injuries he might have sustained in the fall.
District police are still investigating the case and but the boy has been certified to have sustained slight injuries in the fall.
