Elderly woman dies after slipping in shallow water
An 80-year-old French national was walking with five-year-old grandson when she slipped and fell into the sea
An elderly woman lost her life after she slipped in shallow water in St Paul’s Bay.
The French national, who was out with her five-year-old grandson, was walking in the area known as Bajja tal-Ghazzelin.
According to preliminary investigations, the woman slipped in shallow water. She was certified dead on site. A magisterial inquiry is underway.
