Prison warder injured by inmate

A female prison warder suffered minor injuries in a minor alteration with an inmate, the government tonight.

In a brief statement, government said the warder was injured while conducting a search on a prisoner and noted that the administration of the Corradino Correctional Facility took all the necessary action.

The police have been informed of the incident and criminal action will be taken against the female prisoner.
