Man in critical condition after Marsa traffic accident

A man is in critical condition after being struck by a car in Marsa yesterday.

Police were informed of the incident at 9:45pm, when a man of foreign extraction was hit by a Ford Fiesta being driven by a 58-year-old Fgura resident.

The victim was taken to hospital via ambulance and certified as being in danger of losing his life.

Police investigations are ongoing.
