55-year-old man suffers grevious injuries after falling off rooftop

A 55-year-old Syrian man residing in San Gwann, has been certified as grievously injured after he fell off  the rooftop of a block of appartments in Triq il- Barrieri, Zurrieq.

The accident took place at around 09:30 and district police and an ambulance were on the scene as soon as they were informed of the incident. The man was rushed to hospital where he is receiving medical attention.

According to preliminary investigations, the man fell from a height of around one storey. Police investigations are still underway.
