Four-legged sergeants join the corps

Sergeants Miko, Marius, Cheque and Renvey were officially welcomed by the Police Force in a canine recruitment ceremony held at the Dogs Section Quarters in Mosta.

The German Shepherds are aged between one and two years and were brought to Malta from the Czech Republic. The four dogs took part in the ceremony by showing off their abilities acquired so far during training.

Home Affairs Minister Carmelo Abela and Police Commissioner Michael Cassar were present for the ceremony. Main sponsors HSBC and MIA committed themselves for further collaboration with the Dogs Section for the coming three years.
