Paceville bouncer arrested as police find 1,000 ecstasy pills

Police arrest Paceville bouncer after drugs haul of cocaine, ecstasy, cannabis, and mephedrone

A bouncer working at a Paceville establishment was arrested last night after being in found in possession of several drugs, police said.

The 29-year-old man from Qawra was found to be carrying 150 grams of cocaine, several ecstasy pills, and a small amount of mephedrone and cannabis.  

The drugs were in packets ready for trafficking.

Police said that a search in the man’s house revealed drug paraphernalia including electric weighing scales, and small plastic bags. A further 1,000 ecstasy pills were found.

A Magisterial is underway, while police investigations are ongoing.
