Motorcyclist injured in Mosta crash

39-year-old man rushed to hospital after being involved in Mosta traffic accident

A 39-year-old motorcyclist was rushed to hospital this morning after being injured in a crash in Constitution Street, Mosta.

Police said the incident occurred at around 9:30am when a Honda motorcycle driven by a 39-year-old man from Birkirkara crashed into a Toyota Vitz driven by a 65-year-old man from Mosta.

An ambulance conveyed the man to Mater Dei Hospital, where he is receiving treatment.

His condition is not yet known, but the man is though to be suffering from slight injuries.

The driver of the Toyota Vitz escaped unharmed.

Police investigations are ongoing.
