Police investigate alleged rape in Qawra
Police launch investigation after 34-year-old woman claims she was raped in early hours of Sunday morning

The police have launched an investigation after a woman reported that she was raped in the early hours of this morning.
The police said the alleged rape took place at about 2am after the woman, 34, of St Paul’s Bay, met a man in Qawra. The man is then alleged to have raped her at Dawret il-Qawra.
No arrests have been made.
Police investigations are ongoing and a magisterial inquiry has been appointed.
