Sixteen arrested for drug possession

Sixteen Maltese and British individuals were arrested over the weekend over possession of suspected cocaine, ecstasy and cannabis resin.

Those arrested are aged between 16 and 35, and they were arrested throughout the weekend from various locations including Paceville, Rabat and Selmun among others.

Police investigations are ongoing.
