Bus driver injured in three-way crash in Sliema

A bus driver and a passenger were hospitalised following a three-way crash between two buses and a taxi in Sliema.

The accident occurred at around 12:15pm at Tower Road in Sliema, in front of the Preluna Hotel. Pictures uploaded on social media by witnesses show the windscreen of one of the buses completely smashed and its bumper dented by the accident.

Police have since closed the road to traffic, and major traffic congestion has been reported around the area.
