27 arrested for drug possession on Saturday night

The police drug squad said that it had arrested 27 people on Saturday night in the Attard and Mosta area.

Those arrested include four women and 23 men, aged between 16 and 40.

The suspects are of various nationalities, including Maltese, English, Spanish, Czech and Italian, and they were found in possession of cannabis plant and resin, amphetamine, and ecstasy.

Police investigations are still underway.
