Teenager grievously injured after being hit by car

A 15-year-old boy suffered grievous injuries after he was hit by a car in Paola.

The accident took place in Zabbar Road, Paola at about 12:30pm, when a 30-year-old man, on his way to Fgura, hit the boy with his Peugeot 205.

The teenager was conveyed to Mater Dei hospital by ambulance where it declared that he was suffering from grievous injuries, but was not in danger of dying.

Police investigations are still underway.
