Siggiewi man, 37, reported missing, police ask for assistance

A 37-year-old man has been reported the missing, police have confirmed.

According to a police statement, Michael Brandon Calleja was reported missing on 20 September 2016, after last being seen the day before in Siggiewi.

The Canadian-born Siggiewi resident was charged in July of this year in connection with the discovery of half a kilo of cannabis grass as well as cannabis plants after he was found to be in possession of 30 cannabis plants, containers with 500 grammes of cannabis in small packets ready to be trafficked, and other drug paraphernalia.

Police ask for anyone who has any information about Calleja or his whereabouts to pass it on by phoning the police headquarters on 21224001 or 119, or in person at any police station. Individuals reserve the right to remain anonymous.
