A 27-year-old man was granted bail after pleading not guilty to drug related charges.

Daniel Pace of Rabat, Gozo was arraigned before magistrate Paul Coppini in the court of magistrates in Gozo today, accused of cultivating a cannabis plant in the days leading up to 12 September, aggravated possession of the drug, and for committing a crime while under probation.

He was granted bail against a personal guarantee of €10,000 and a deposit of €2,000.

Lawyers Franco Debono and Angie Muscat appeared on behalf of Pace.

Inspector Frank Anthony Tabone prosecuted.
