Libyan injured in early-morning St Julian's fight

Libyan sufferes grievous injuries in fight in St Julian's in the early hours on Friday • Second man flees the scene bfore police arrive on site

A 33-year-old Libyan national was seriously injured in a fight with an other man in the early hours of Friday in St Julians.

Police arrived in St George’s Street at around 1.45am where they found the man had been injured by another man who had fled the scene.

The Libyan was immediately taken to hospital where he was certified to be siffering from grievous injuries.

Investigations by the St Julian’s police continue.
