Motorcyclist, 22, grievously injured in Msida traffic accident

A motorcyclist was grievously injured yesterday evening after being involved in an accident in Msida.

The 22-year-old Iraqi national was driving his Kawasaki Ninja at around 5:00pm yesterday when he collided with a Ford Fiesta, lost control and dragged across the central strip.

The car was being driven by a woman, 43, of San Gwann.

The man was conveyed to Mater Dei hospital by ambulance, where he was declared to be in critical condition.

Police investigations are still underway.
