Dead man pulled out of sea

The body of a 63-year-old Englishman was pulled out of the sea off the Msida seafront early this morning.

Police received reports at 1:25am, with police arriving at the scene finding the man face down in the water.

According to the police, the man’s death is believed to be natural causes related to health reasons, and is not being treated suspiciously. It is said that the man fell ill and slipped into the sea. An autopsy will be carried out to establish the exact cause of death.
