Motorcyclist ends up on car roof in Lija traffic accident

The man had been riding a Honda MD22 in Triq Pantar, Lija, when it was involved in a collision with a Toyota Yaris, driven by a 53 year old man from Attard.

A 22 year old motorcyclist from Rabat has been taken to hospital after being involved in a traffic accident in Lija this afternoon.

Police say the man had been riding a Honda MD22 in Triq Pantar, Lija, when it was involved in a collision with a Toyota Yaris, driven by a 53 year old man from Attard. The rider is understood to have ended up on the roof of the car.

The motorcyclist's condition has not yet been officially confirmed, but he is reported to have only suffered slight injuries.
