Driver loses control of car, crashes into traffic barrier

A 27-year-old man from Naxxar was rushed to hospital after he lost control of his car and crashed it into a traffic barrier while driving in Burmarrad.

A police spokesperson told MaltaToday that the incident occurred at around 1pm at Triq Burmarrad, when the young man lost control over his BMW320, skidded and crashed into a traffic barrier.

Civil Protection Department officials were called on site to lift the man out of the car, and an ambulance arrived to transport him to Mater Dei.
