Elderly woman hit by car in Qormi suffers grievous injuries

An elderly woman has suffered grievous injuries after she was hit by a car in Triq tal-Hlas, Qormi this morning.

The accident, that left the 73-year-old Qormi resident hospitalised, took place at 9:35am, and involved a Toyota Corolla, driven by a 56-year-old woman, resident of Sliema.

Police investigations are still ongoing.
