Man grievously injured after flipping car in Zabbar

A 37-year-old man from Zabbar was seriously injured in an accident early Monday morning in Zabbar.

Police were called to Labour Avenue at around 12.45am where they discovered a Toyota Starlet flipped onto its roof.

Preliminiary investigations concluded  the man, who was driving the Starlet, lost control of his vehicle and crashed into a parked Fiat Punto. His car came to rest on the roof.

An ambulance was called to take the man to Mater Dei Hospital where he was certified to have suffered grievous injuries.

Police investigations are continuing.
