Qormi driver injured in collision between two buses

Ambulance was called to Coast Road to deliver a bus driver to Mate Dei Hospital

A 35-year-old bus driver from Qormi has been taken to Mater Dei Hospital to be treated for injuries he sustained in a traffic accident between two route buses on the Coast Road.

The accident occurred at around 2pm on Monday.

Two elderly passengers on one of the buses were treated for shock on site.

Police investigations are continuing.
