Man arrested for attacking woman in late-night brawl

A man was arrested for attacking and grievously injuring a woman during a fight at a St Paul’s Bay apartment early this morning.

Police said that the fight took place at around midnight in an apartment in Triq Mozzolla between a 27-year-old man from Floriana and a 25-year-old woman from St Paul’s Bay.

The man had fled the scene by the time the police arrived, but he was soon found and arrested. The woman was rushed to Mater Dei for urgent treatment.
