The police were alerted to a man who had been stabbed at 6.30pm on Friday

A 25-year-old man has been taken to Mater Dei Hospital after he was stabbed on Friday afternoon in Marsa.

Police officials received reports of man who had been stabbed at Xatt il-mollijiet in Marsa at roughly 6.30pm.

It is as yet unclear whether a suspect has been detained over the incident however a police investigation is underway.
