A man has suffered grievous injuries from a stabbing incident in the early hours of this morning

A man was found stabbed in Triq Tumas Fenech

A 26-year-old man has been grievously injured after being stabbed with a sharp object early this morning.

Police were called to Triq Tumas Fenech in Birkirkara at 1.10am, finding the injured man.

The victim, a Naxxar resident, was conveyed to Mater Dei Hospital by ambulance.

Duty magistrate Josette Demicoli launched an inquiry into the case.
