Four injured in St Julian’s motorbike crash

Five people have been injured following a traffic accident resulting from the collision of three Harley-Davidson motorbikes said the Police communications unit. The collision happened at roughly 11.30am in Triq Mikiel Anton Vassali in St Julian’s.

A 36-year old man from Zurrieq and a 57-year old Italian man were certified as having sustained grievous injuries. A 36-year old man from Pembroke and a 21-year old woman from Marsascala sustained light injuries.

The injured were taken to Mater Dei hospital for treatment. 

Second Accident

In another incident earlier today, a 53-year old Gzira woman suffered grievous injuries after she lost control of a motorcycle she was driving.

According to the police communications unit the accident happened in Dawret San Pawl at roughly 9.45am. An ambulance took the woman to Mater Dei hospital where she is being treated for her injuries.
