Argument leaves two men injured

An argument in St Julian’s between two men has left both with grievous injuries, the police said on Sunday.

According to the Police Communications Unit, St Julian’s district police were called to St George’s Street in St Julian’s at roughly 7.00am this morning, where it was established that an argument had taken place between a 29-year old Syrian man residing in Marsaskala, and 33-year old Jordanian man.

Both men were taken to Mater Dei Hospital for treatment.

A police investigation is underway.
