Motorcyclist injured in Birkirkara bypass crash

A young motorcyclist has been hospitalised with grievous injuries following a crash with a car on the Birkirkara bypass this afternoon.

The police said that the motorcyclist, a 21-year-old man from Munxar, was driving his Honda 125 in Triq Dun Karm at around 5:15pm when he collided with a Peugeot 106 car that was being driven by a 24-year-old man from Rabat. 

He was rushed to Mater Dei to receive treatment for the grievous injuries he had sustained.
