Young motorcyclist injured in Xewkija accident

19-year-old motorcyclist hospitalised with grievous injuries following collision with van in Xewkija, Gozo

A 19-year-old motorcyclist from Ghajnsielem was hospitalised with grievous injuries after he was involved in a traffic accident with a van in Xewkija, Gozo.

Police said in a statement that the incident took place at around 2:15pm on Mgarr Road in Xemxija. The van driver has been identified as a 25-year-old man from Xewkija.
