Elderly woman hospitalised after Gzira hit-and-run

Driver who ran over 67-year-old woman by the Council of Europe Garden in Gzira fled the scene

A 67-year-old woman from Gzira was rushed to hospital on Tuesday evening after she sustained grievous injuries in a hit and run incident.

Police said that the incident occurred at around 6:30pm near the Council of Europe Garden in Gzira. The driver fled the scene after hitting the victim, and has not yet been identified.
