Man attempts robbery from Gozo shop

A 40-year-old has been conditionally discharged after admitting to plans to steal from a shop in Rabat, Gozo.

In a statement, the police said that the man, 40, was arraigned before Magistrate Paul Coppini, on charges that he planned to commit a robbery in Triq Fortunato Mizzi.

The man, who resides temporarily in Gozo, admitted to the charges.

Inspector Bernard Charles Spiteri led the prosecution.
