Elderly passengers injured in Zejtun crash

At least seven passengers have been injured in a traffic accident in Zejtun, when their minibus crashed into a wall.

The accident took place in Triq President Anton Buttigieg, at around 1.10pm.

The elderly passengers were riding in the minibus when, for reasons unknown, the driver lost control of the vehicle and crashed into a wall.

Paramedics were called on site to assist the injured passengers. Seven senior citizens were taken to hospital.
