Elderly man suffering from grievous injuries after suspected fall

Gozitan man, 80, was taken to Gozo General hospital after having sustained serious injuries from what is believed to have been a fall

An 80-year-old man is being treated for his injuries, after he was found lying on the ground in Victoria, Gozo last night.

Police were informed at of the incident at 10:45pm yesterday, on Triq Borg Geritu, where the man, who is also from Victoria, is believed to have fallen from a height.

Magistrate Joanne Vella Cuschieri is leading an inquiry into the incident and police investigations are on-going.
