Motorcyclist seriously injured in St Julian's

A 28-year-old man is being treated for grievous injuries following a road accident in St Julians last night.

The motorcyclist, from Serbia, was riding an Aprilia SR125 towards Balluta, when he collided with a pavement and lost control of his vehicle.

According to police, the accident took place at 12:15am, on Triq Borg Olivier.

A magisterial inquiry is being held and police investigations are ongoing.
