Man seriously injured in Iklin car accident

A 34-year-old man was injured yesterday in a car accident in Iklin.

The police were informed at around 7:30pm that their assistance was needed in Triq il-Wied, and on arriving on the scene discovered that there had been a crash between the Subaru Vivio which that man was driving and a Smart Roadster driven by a 24-year-old man from Swieqi.

The 34-year-old man was taken to Mater Dei Hospital, where it was determined that he was suffering from serious injuries.

Police investigations are ongoing.
