Victim in Qrendi fireworks factory fire passes away

A 27-year-old man from Qrendi who in May was involved in a fire at the Qrendi fireworks factory has lost his life today, the Police announced in a statement.

The incident happened on 29 May. While the man was stacking fireworks in a room at the Santa Marija fireworks factory, these caught fire with the consequence that the enthusiast suffered serious burns.

Police are still investigating the case.
