Italian pleads guilty to knifing man

A 20-year-old Italian national pleads guilty to charges of attaking man with a knife in St Julian's.

Italian national Salvatore Zisa, 20 admitted to seriously injuring another person with a knife on 18 August, in St Julian's.

Zisa, who appeared in front of Magistrate Edwina Grima also pleaded guilty to carrying a weapon without the necessary license.

He was granted bail against a personal guarantee of €10,000. A sentence will be issued next Tuesday.
