Prime Minister Joseph Muscat has attended a concert in Paris that was delivered by Maltese world-famous tenor Joseph Calleja at the historical Les Invalides, in Paris.

Calleja's performance was preceded by a brief address, which was delivered by Muscat himself - entirely in French.

Maltese tenor, Joseph Calleja, during the concert, accompanied by the Orchestre de la Garde republicaine under the baton of Colonel Francois Boulanger. The concert comprised popular French and Italian arias. History was made when they interpreted the Innu Malti and the Marseillaise.

The concert was organized by the Maltese Embassy in France for the promotion of Maltese culture abroad.

Muscat is currently in France, heading a delegation which also includes Foreign Affairs Minister George Vella. Muscat is also accompanied by EU Affairs and Deputy Prime Minister Louis Grech.
