Olive feast one of the 'most popular cultural events' in Malta

Zejt iz-Zejtun has become one of the most popular cultural events in Malta, Parliamentary Secretary for local governance Stefan Buontempo said.

This annual event, organized by the Zejtun Local Counil, celebrates the olive-picking season and the production of olive oil.

““Zejt iz-Zejtun attracts thousands of visitors to Zejtun every year,” Buontempo said, while praising the Zejtun Local Council members as ‘cultural ambassadors’.   

Zejt iz-Zejtun will be held between 27 and 28 September.
