President visits MediaToday offices in San Gwann

President Marie Louise Coleiro Preca visited the MediaToday offices in San Gwann yesterday.

Coleiro Preca was welcomed by the directors of MediaToday, Saviour Balzan and Roger de Giorgio.

The President, who took office in April, giving up her seat in parliament where she served as Family and Social Solidarity Minister, met the staff at the MT offices.

During a frank and informal discussion which took the better part of an hour, journalists raised various issues with the President, including constitutional reform and her speech last Saturday marking Republic Day.
