A judge threw out the request for an injunction on the agreement between Autobuses de Leon, the Spanish operator chosen for the public transport system, and the government, calling the request disproportionate.

A commotion erupted yesterday as a group of Libyans protested in front of the Libyan embassy in Balzan. The group was expressing disapproval that an official appointed by the Tripoli government had not conceded his position to one from the Tobruk government, instead locking himself within the building.
