Updated | After hours of pulling, AFM recruits arrive in Valletta

120 recruits of the Armed Forces of Malta collected funds for L-Istrina the hard way by pulling – and pushing – a military vehicle from the President’s San Anton Palace in Attard all the way to Valletta.

The recruits stopped five times to collect funds and finally arrived to their destination at around 5.30pm. President Marie Louise Coleiro Preca was waiting outside the Mediterranean Conference Centre for their arrival.
